It's sturdy, large enough, beats the heck out of porcelain ones (which I broke, thusly buying this!) comes with 'drip tray', good size and weight, all around pretty much perfect and good value for the money. Can't be bought everywhere, and again, by far, best price at Amazon, I know I LOOKED EVERYWHERE else 'cause Amazon didn't want to ship it to me. Took MONTHS to get it! When I saw this coat rack it looked sturdy and the design was great. I've loaded it up with 30 lbs of clothes. The only time it began to tip is if I hung two heavy items on the same hook. If well balanced, it stayed upright. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.
