Very nice design to this umbrella stand, best looking one that I could find. The quality was less than I would expect however; the wood was light weight and cheap, and actualy cracked a bit from pounding in one of the wooden pegs to hold the bottom in. Holes were slightly mis-aligned and it took a bit of pushing and bending to get the pieces to fit squarely.

Although this image looked good, when we got the umbrella stand and went to put it together, it was like trying to screw together balsa wood. Although we were gentle and patient, the wood kept splitting and snapping. The cam locks kept disconnecting because the wood was cracking. There's a free replacement part sheet we're going to try and use, but maybe if they had spent a little more money on higher quality parts and pieces, this would've been a better product. I would not buy one if I had to do it over again. Very cheap product for not a cheap price.

The item delivered was only five pieces of wood with NO necessary hardware to assemble it; the customer service, Jake in the Philippines and his supervisor named Mervin, refused to have the necessary items sent which are needed to assemble it.
