This rack is beautiful made from solid wood with a nice Oak finish. The top has 6 pegs to hang hats, purses, and clothes. The spindle has great craftsmanship and is heavy and sturdy. This rack is nice and so handy. Also, you can choose to keep the middle section out and it stands 4' tall for children to use! The top spins. Dimensions: 2" Diameter, 71" High The base width is 19.5" and the top with the pegs are 10" wide.

It is just a simple little thing. Very easy to put together and takes up so little space, but holds so many items. I don't know how we got along so long without one. I ordered this because I got tired of all the coats on the floor or tossed on the sofa or chair. We couldn't sit down without moving a coat or a leash or something. Now all thos things are hanging from this great product that fits so well into the small space we had availible it amazed us. We love it and hight recomend getting one to everyone.

This item should be renamed as a hat rack. It fell into pieces when I put my coats onto the pegs. Two of the pegs splintered and broke off, and then a week and a half later the entire rack split at the middle - the wood has splintered out so the screw is no longer effective. I have had a coatrack before in my life, and never had a problem with putting a lot of weight on it, but clearly this could not withstand the ten coats I tried to put on it -some of them were even lightweight! Very disappointed...but I suppose you do get what you pay for. Would work great as a baseball cap or hat rack though.

I am using this coat stand as a purse stand. It is a great color of wood, sturdy, and it spins around for convenience. It was super easy to assemble and arrived in just few days after I ordered it online (and I did not choose any form of expedited shipping). Great value!!
